Jaxson's Beary First Year

Ok so Jaxson will be 7 months tomorrow and I have done a horrible job and keeping you updated and informed on his growth and milestones.

Jaxson can

• make razz sound


• coo and babble and grunt


• smile back at you


• sit without support but likes to fall over when he gets lazy


• likes to stand when help up or leaning against something


• army crawl


• get up on all fours and rock


• turn in the direction of voices


• play peekaboo


• eat baby food like it is going out of style, he loves fruit and veggies!


• loves to flap his arms when excited and we call him "flappy jack" when he does


• grab at any cup and try to drink from it


• SING!!!

He is so much fun to have around but I can't leave him alone for a second now because he is constantly looking for trouble. Most of the time he takes 2 good naps a day and is sleeping through the night! Every night we have the same routine bath, pj's, story, swaddle, bottle and rock to sleep. Sterling does this 90% of the time. I have the most wonderful hubby. He looks forward to coming home to see Jaxson.

Jaxson's nick names are J Dawg, baby J, Jimmy Dean and little dude, thanks to Uncle Parker! Jaxson loves to eat baby food. The only thing he makes a face while eating is prunes, who wouldn't right? He doesn't like the texture of rice cereal or oatmeal but mix it with something and he slurps it right down. He enjoys drinking from his sippy cup.

Sterling and I are just trying to keep up with life. We are both still working and Sterling is enjoying his promotion and the power of being a manager. I am still in Young Women and loving it. Sterling is still teaching in Primary and keeps the older boys in senior primary singing during sharing time. He tries to get out to the desert as often as he can.
